Anna Nelson and Braden Timpe were selected as the 2009 recipients for the Ray Limbo Masonic Junior Achievement Award Thursday during a ceremony in the Enumclaw High School commons.

This was the 41st such night in Enumclaw history and the first one that Ray Limbo was not the masters of ceremonies. Parents, relatives, Masons and school representatives were on hand at the annual banquet that honors one boy and one girl from the Enumclaw High junior class. The winners each receive a $1,000 scholarship. This year, the Masons also awarded a $500 scholarship to two additional students, Lauren Redman and Zachary Ross.

Jessica Decker, Carissa Gwerder, Kaylee Salsbury, Taylor Capellaro, Joseph Glick and Michael Taylor were also finalist. Each student is involved in sports, community service and school activities, while maintaining a good grade-point average.
