Police were advised the afternoon of Nov. 20 of two pigs running loose in the vicinity of Warner Avenue and Schmid Street. The owner was located and the animals were returned.

PIGS ON THE LOOSE: Police were advised the afternoon of Nov. 20 of  two pigs running loose in the vicinity of Warner Avenue and Schmid Street. The owner was located and the animals were returned.

VEHICLE PROWL: An officer made contact the afternoon of Nov. 20 with a victim who reported items were stolen from a vehicle while it was parked at a Pioneer Street locations. There were no immediate suspects.

TAKING A WALK: A caller alerted police at 3:58 a.m. Nov 20 to three suspicious subjects standing on the corner of Roosevelt Avenue and Semanski Street. An officer made contact and determined all were 18 or older and were just out for a walk.

SMASHING PUMPKINS: An officer on patrol at 1:53 a.m. Nov. 19 observed subjects smashing pumpkins on Cole Street. They were contacted and agreed to clean up the mess.

HARASSMENT: Police took a report Nov. 19 of harassment by telephone. The suspect was trespassed from the victim’s residence and the case was forwarded to the city prosecutor for review.

STORE DISTURBANCE: Police responded shortly before midnight Nov. 19 to a Garrett Street address and a reported disturbance. One person was arrested, booked for theft and trespassed from the store. Property was returned to the store.

ARREST WARRANT: Officers were alerted the evening of Nov. 19 to a possibly-drunk driver in a turquoise minivan. Contact was made and it was determined the driver was wanted on an arrest warrant issued by Kirkland, Wash., police. The subject was transported to Renton, where he was turned over to Kirkland authorities.
