FORGERY: Staff at a city pharmacy contacted police Oct. 23 regarding a prescription forgery. A report was taken and another call was to be made if someone showed up to retrieve the medication.

FELONY WARRANT: Police were told Oct. 23 of someone sleeping for several hours in a vehicle parked on Garrett Street. Officers contacted the subject, who was found to be wanted on an outside felony warrant. He was arrested and transported to the King County jail for booking.

POSTER PROBLEM: A woman arrived at the police station lobby the afternoon of Oct. 23, stating her concern about posters put up around town indicating she was a shoplifter. She said the posters might have been put up by a former friend. A report was taken.

ATTEMPT TO LOCATE: Enumclaw officers were contacted by a Buckley dispatcher the morning of Oct. 22, asked to be on the lookout for a gray, 2005 Ford F350 pickup that had been stolen from a Wilkeson address.

SHOPLIFTING: A female shoplifter was detained Oct. 21 after she exited a Roosevelt Avenue store with a cart full of groceries. She was taken into custody and booked into the city jail for third-degree theft.

TOTAL LOSS: A Lafromboise Street resident contacted police the morning of Oct. 20, reporting a Cadillac Escalade parked in front of the residence had been stolen. It was recovered the following evening by King County authorities, who reported the vehicle was damaged to the point of being considered a total loss. The owner was notified.

SIGNS MISSING: A McKinley Street resident reported Oct. 21 that several political signed had been taken from the yard. A report was taken but there were no immediate suspects. Also on the 21st, members of the local firefighters’ union reported 20 signs placed around town were missing. It was unknown if they had been stolen or taken down by property owners. On Oct. 22, a McHugh Avenue resident reported five political signs were missing from several nearby homes.

911 CALL: Enumclaw police learned of a  911 call Oct. 20 in which  the caller stated he and his wife were being assaulted and the suspect was threatening to kill his wife’s brother. It was determined to be outside the city jurisdiction so King County authorities were notified.

AUTO THEFT: Police were informed at 1:17 a.m. Oct. 19 that an automobile had been stolen from a Watson Street address. It was found by the owner six hours later in the vicinity of 268th AVenue Southeast and Sounteast 424th Street. There was no damage and the vehicle was released to the owner.

ASSAULT: An officer responded the evening of Oct. 18 to a McHugh Avenue address to deal with a reported domestic violence incident. An assault report was taken; the suspect was not at the residence, so the officer was to check later.

OUT OF CONTROL: After hearing of an out-of-control juvenile the evening of Oct. 18, an officer responded to a Loraine Street address. The situation was handled upon police contact.

TRESPASSING: A suspect was arrested and booked the afternoon of Oc. 18 for trespassing. The owner of a dog in the suspect’s possession was identified hours later; the owner planned to retrieve the animal and declined to press charges.
