Ford Motor Company and Fugate Ford Mercury will be partnering Saturday to help raise money for the White River High boys basketball program as part of Ford’s Drive One 4 UR School program.
Community members can help raise up to $6,000 for the Hornet program by test driving a Ford or Mercury vehicle at the school.
Ford Motor Company and Fugate Ford Mercury will donate $20 to White River High for every person from a unique household who test drives a select new Ford or Mercury vehicle during a Saturday fundraiser. To participate, visit the White River High campus on 120th Street East in Buckley between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m.
Fugate Ford Mercury participated in Ford’s Drive One 4 UR School program last year and raised approximately $2,500 for local students.
Since the start of the program in 2007, the program has raised more than $2.3 million for close to 700 high schools across the country.
“We look forward to partnering with our community in support of White River High School,” said Gloria Perry, a manager at Fugate Ford Mercury. “Our schools need our support now more than ever and we’re proud to be able to help through Drive One 4 UR School.”
