A robbery was attempted the afternoon of April 20 at a Griffin Avenue espresso stand. A would-be robber did not display a weapon and fled on foot when an employee reached for a phone to dial 911.

ROBBERY ATTEMPT: A robbery was attempted the afternoon of April 20 at a Griffin Avenue espresso stand. A would-be robber did not display a weapon and fled on foot when an employee reached for a phone to dial 911. Police identified a possible suspect, but the victim confirmed it was not the robber. A further check of the area was negative.

NOTHING MISSING: On April 20, two windows were broken out of a vehicle on Florence Street. Nothing was taken.

APRIL 23: A busy day included thefts at Norma Street and Whitemore Court locations, a theft from a vehicle on Rosewood Court and a domestic dispute at a B Street address. Additionally, there was a report of a missing child and an impaired driver at SR 410 and Mason Avenue.

APRIL 22: Police stopped two impaired drivers, took two calls about recklessly-driven vehicles and had report of a verbal altercation in Wilkeson. There was a reported residential burglary at a highway location and, while on patrol, officers conducted 24 traffic stops.
