Enumclaw
ALTERCATION
• A Garrett Street store manager told police Thursday of a verbal altercation between a woman and another customer outside the store. The woman had a firearm on the seat of her car and advised that she wasn’t afraid to use it.
FIGHT
• Police responded at 12:35 a.m. June 17 to a report of a fight at a Roosevelt Avenue address. The suspect, a 22-year-old man, lost consciousness, was evaluated by medics and transported to Enumclaw Regional Hospital.
HARASSMENT
• At approximately 1 a.m. June 16 a citizen arrived at the police station lobby, wishing to file harassment charges against a known suspect. An officer counseled the citizen on available options. About 10 minutes later, the suspect arrived at the station and was advised to change his behavior.
THREATS
• A man told police June 16 that another man had threatened him at his place of employment. An officer advised him to contact police if it happened again and to do so when the incident occurred.
RUNAWAY
• A parent notified police at 7:5 0 p.m. June 16 of a runaway son and told where the juvenile might be staying. Officers checked the address with no luck. The mother called police about 6:20 a.m. the next day to report that her son had returned home.
CIVIL DISPUTE
• City parents reported an ongoing problem with their 18-year-old daughter who refuses to comply with their rules. The daughter is forbidden to enter the home while her parents are away. The parents arrived home June 13, finding obvious signs of a forced entry; their daughter admitted to breaking in. The parents sought information about obtaining a restraining order.
DOMESTIC
• Police arrived at a Semanski Street address about 12:47 a.m. June 12, responding to a verbal dispute between a father and his two grown children. After the officer contacted all parties involved, the children packed their items and departed.
ONGOING PROBLEM
• Police responded to a Willow Drive address three times June 12. On the first two occasions, they found a woman yelling and throwing items from the windows of her home. She claimed to be remodeling the house and officers advised against breaking windows. By the time of the third call, the woman was walking along the road with a bag of rocks and had threatened to stab a neighbor. She was taken into custody and booked into the city jail for making threats, possessing a dangerous weapon and creating a public disturbance.
Buckley
LITTLE HELP HERE
• Buckley police were dispatched to McDougall Avenue in Enumclaw around 2 a.m. Saturday for an assistance call. When the Buckley officers arrived at the scene there was a female and male subject sprawled across the middle of the road and they were both discovered to be intoxicated. The duo told the Enumclaw police, who arrived a short time later, that all they were trying to do was get home. Enumclaw police readily complied.
WRONG NUMBER?
• After midnight Thursday, a River Road resident wished to document that she had received two consecutive calls on her cell phone that were unidentifiable. She suspected that the calls were from her ex-boyfriend, but as both times the number came up on her caller I.D. as “unknown,” but there was no evidence to confirm her theory.
