Enumclaw High’s Lauren Redman and Anna Nelson aced a tiebreaker to win 7-6 (3) their opening set of the Class 3A state girls tennis tournament in Vancouver, Wash., Friday morning, but then dropped two straight sets, 6-3, 6-0, to Cassandra Dicken and Becky Sharpe of Hanford to drop into the consolation bracket.

The Hornet duo, making their first state appearance, also lost their first match in the consolation bracket 6-1, 6-3 to Sakura Porter and Anna Quach of Evergreen to make an early exit.
