THEFT AVERTED: A man attempted to take a chainsaw without paying for it the afternoon of Oct. 23. An employee was able to retrieve the saw before calling police. The suspect departed in a gray Toyota pickup.
ASSAULT: Officers responded the morning of Oct. 23 to a domestic dispute in progress. After locating and stopping a vehicle on Battersby Avenue, suspects were arrested and booked for fourth-degree assault/domestic violence.
BURGLARY: Police took a report the evening of Oct. 22 concerning a burglary a ta Harding Street residence.
NOT A BURGLARY: On officer on patrol the evening of Oct. 22 spotted signs of a commercial burglary and notified a person associated with the business. It turned out to be a case of malicious mischief, rather than a burglary.
OCTOBER 25: Reports included a robbery at a state Route 410 location, a suicidal subject and a burglary at a highway address. Also, the day brought a domestic dispute and two suspicious vehicle reports.
OCTOBER 24: It was a busy day in traffic, with 14 stops made.
