The Rock the Green Festival Saturday, Aug. 10, kicked off at Green River Community College. The event was sponsored by the  Middle Green River Coalition.

The event included a trail run. Proceeds from the festival went toward MGRC’s efforts to protect the Middle Green River and creating new trails in the watershed. The festival featured live music, family adventure hikes, beer garden, silent auction, local food and booths.
