Enumclaw NASCAR Sprint Cup driver Kasey Kahne comes home to Enumclaw to stay thank you to fans and customers for years of support with an appearance at The Kasey Kahne Store before it closes its doors.
Kahne will visit at 11 a.m. Thursday.
The event is open to the public and there is no ticket needed to attend. However, anyone interested in an autograph will need to stop by the Kasey Kahne Store, state Route 410 in Enumclaw at the Dodge dealership, and purchase a clothing or hat item to receive a bracelet for an autograph. Bracelets are now being handed out on a first-come, first-served basis. Visitors must be present to receive a bracelet and there will only be two bracelets per person, one autograph per bracelet. Bracelets must be presented at the day of the event to receive an autograph.
Some bracelets will be available at 9 a.m. Thursday at The Kasey Kahne Store.
The store is open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. through today, Wednesday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday.
Due to transitions with the race team, the store is closing at its current location. Decisions about the future will not be made until the 2011 race season. The store will close at 5 p.m. Saturday. The online store will remain in business.

Kahne is on the West Coast competing. After qualifying fourth Friday, Kahne and the No. 9 Budweiser Ford Fusion finished 34th Sunday at California Motorspeedway. A brush against the wall and a fender bender put a damper on what was a promising early-race run.
“I just didn’t catch it,” Kahne said. “I got loose and I didn’t catch it. I did a bad job. We had a pretty good car. You never really know where we would have finished because everybody was going back and forth in the top 10, so I think we had a great shot at running up front and I just made a mistake. Now we’re in a big hole.”
