Police were told Dec. 28 of an intoxicated individual who repeatedly entered a store, attempting to purchase alcohol, even after being refused service. The person was contacted and told to keep away from the store, but returned an hour later.

THEFT: Police were told the afternoon of Dec. 28 items had been stolen from a utility trailer parked at a Chinook Avenue location.

WARRANT: City police went to a Spruce Drive address the afternoon of Dec. 28 to serve a warrant issued by the Department of Corrections. The suspect was taken into custody and delivered to the city police station to be booked on the warrant. Due to medical reasons, the individual was noon booked; DOC was informed of the development.

NO MORE: Police were told Dec. 28 of an intoxicated individual who repeatedly entered a store, attempting to purchase alcohol, even after being refused service. The person was contacted and told to keep away from the store, but returned an hour later. Upon second contact, the individual was formally trespassed from the business, only to violate the order before police exited the scene. The intoxicated individual was then arrested and booked for criminal trespass.

JANUARY 2: An intoxicated driver was stopped shortly before 7 p.m. in the vicinity of Park Avenue and SR 410. Other calls included suspicious vehicles in both Buckley and Wilkeson and a Cedar Street domestic dispute that was verbal only.

JANUARY 1: The new year brought three stops involving impaired drivers and a complaint about fireworks. There were 16 other traffic stops made and police assisted with a vehicle recovery.
