Tip leads officers to suspect | Enumclaw Police

WARRANT ARREST: Police were told Oct. 17 a person wanted on an arrest warrant could be found at a Cole Street address. Officers responded and determined there was probable cause to believe the person was involved in other cases. The suspect was taken into custody, taken to the police station and released to Buckley authorities on their charges.

DOC ARREST: Enumclaw police were called Oct. 17 to assist the state Department of Corrections with an arrest at a C Court address. The suspect was taken into custody without incident.

PURSE STOLEN: Police were told Oct. 17 of a “Hello Kitty” purse taken from a vehicle parked in an alley off Cole Street. The purse was valued at $20.

TWO CHARGES: Police initiated a traffic stop the evening of Oct. 16 at 244th Avenue Southeast and McDougall Avenue. The motorist was arrested and booked for driving with a suspended license and failure to have an interlock device installed. The vehicle was towed.

PARKING COMPLAINT: An officer responded Oct. 16 to a Weatherbee Lane address after hearing of a complaint about a burned vehicle parked on the street for several days. Contact was made with the owner, who confirmed arrangements had been made to have the vehicle hauled away. By that afternoon, it was gone.
