DRIVING WHILE LICENSE SUSPENDED: At 2:08 p.m. July 28, a 39-year-old Buckley man was stopped for driving on a suspended license. He was arrested, issued a notice of infraction and citation and booked into the Buckley Jail without incident.

NEIGHBORLY DISPUTE: At 9:05 p.m. July 28, an officer was dispatched to a 4th Street address to respond to a dispute between neighbors. One neighbor appeared to be drunk and unable to be reasoned with. The officer spoke with this man for several minutes, explaining that he needed to stay away from his neighbor and refrain from threatening bodily harm. He eventually left the area on foot and the remaining neighbor was advised to call police if the man came back.

GAS THEFT: At 5:07 p.m. July 29, an officer was dispatched to the 29200 block of state Route 410 East for a reported theft of gasoline. The owner provided a license plate number and suspect description, and from there he was able to positively identify the driver’s license photo that came back on the department of licensing report. The officer made several unsuccessful attempts to contact the suspect before issuing a citation through the mail.

UNLICENSED TRUCKER: At midnight June 31, a commercial vehicle was pulled over at the 28300 block of SR 410 for a traffic violation. The officer determined that the driver didn’t have a commercial driver’s license. He was issued a notice of infraction and citation and placed out of service until he could obtain the necessary DOL approval.

FOUND PROPERTY: At 5:49 p.m. July 31, an officer was dispatched to North River Avenue for a reported abandoned bicycle. The reporting neighbors stated that the bike had been left unattended all day. The bike was collected and entered into evidence for safekeeping.
