Dino Rossi, Republican candidate for governor, will be in Enumclaw Thursday to address the Citizens' Alliance for Property Rights.
The public is welcome to the session, which begins at 7 p.m. at the Enumclaw Sales Pavilion, 22712 S.E. 436th St.
A Seattle University graduate who worked his way through college as a janitor, Rossi characterizes himself as a "fiscal conservative with a social conscience." As evidence of that, the former state senator from Issaquah points to the no-new-taxes budget he helped craft in the Legislature.
The Enumclaw-based Citizens' Alliance for Property Rights was formed to battle the regulations placed on private property owners and to seek the election of candidates who share their views.
