Volunteer target shooting cleanup set for Saturday

Approximately 200 volunteers – environmental groups, the National Rifle Association and Forest Service employees – will labor between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. Saturday, July 10, to clean up trash left by target shooters in the Mt. Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest along the state Route 410 corridor and the Wilkeson-Carbonado area near state Route 165.

Interested volunteers can meet at 8:30 a.m. at south parking lot for Enumclaw fairgrounds, 45600 284th Ave. S.E., or call Jim Franzel, 425-922-1561, or Renee Bodine, 425-783-6015, to meet at cleanup sites later.
