Graduation ceremonies for the Volunteer Firefighter Recruit Academy class of 2009 recently took place at the Glacier Middle School auditorium.

Graduating from the city of Buckley were firefighters Kyna Moore and Justin Torres, while the Enumclaw Fire Department graduated Michael Grabanski, Kyle Jacobson, Michael Sanchez, Alex Sneed and Casey Taylor. Greenwater’s department graduated Joshua Rudnick.

Orting Valley Fire and Rescue awarded diplomas to Joshua Davis, Tyson Deeter, Stanislav Shepel and Jenifer Wilson.
