With a 9-8 win over Auburn Mountainview Thursday, the Enumclaw High girls water polo team jumped to 3-1 in South Sound League East Division play.

Rachel Deonigi, Ali Ballard and Alina Van Ruff led the Hornets in scoring with two goals apiece. Lindsay Bowden, Erin Stucker and Breanna Flaquinti each added another.

The Hornets return to action Monday with Emerald Ridge for a nonleague contest. Start time is 4:30 p.m. at the Enumclaw Aquatic Center.
