Behind the four-goal performance of Stephanie Hamre, the Bonney Lake-Sumner girls water polo team gave Mount Tahoma a run for its money Thursday in an 18-11 loss in Tacoma.

Lizzie Kressler and Ashley Alvaney helped the Panther-Spartan team with two goals each.

The team plays at 3:30 pm. Thursday at Peninsula and then hosts Enumclaw Monday at 3:15 p.m.

Both contests are South Sound East Division contests.
