Action Day Camp, offered by the Sumner/Bonney Lake Recreation Department, is open for registration. Each camp segment lasts one week and includes games, arts and crafts, movies, swimming, biking, field trips and more! Camps are available for kindergarteners to sixth graders.
Activities are based on the unique theme for each week: A Pirate’s Life for Me, Sports Week, Disney Days, Crazy Concotions & More, Animal Planet, Out of this World, The Amazing Race, Survivor Down Under, Extreme H2O, and Wild Animal Week.
Campers have the option to enjoy a free lunch at Daffodil Valley Elementary each day, or they may bring their own.
Camp dates are June 17 to August 23. Hours are from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Drop off begins at 6:30 a.m. and pickup is from 4 to 6 p.m.
Grades K to 3 will meet at Robert Miller Gym, located behind Daffodil Valley Elementary at 15206 Daffodil Street Court E in Sumner.
Grades 4 to 6 will meet at Sumner Middle School, located at 1508 Willow Street in Sumner.
For the first and last weeks of camp, all age groups will meet at Robert Miller Gym.
A $25 deposit is required for each child to guarantee their spot. Camp cost varies from $105 to $125 per week.
