The Panthers racked up 28 points in a losing effort against Peninsula Friday.
Bonney Lake hosted the Peninsula and lost 56-28.
It was the Panthers first South Puget Sound League 3A game of the season.
TJ Potts scored first for the Panthers putting Bonney Lake up 7-0.
Peninsula came back and tied it in the first.
Bonney Lake’s second score came from Ethan McElderry.
Brendan Studebaker hit Robert Combs on a 36-yard pass play for six. Combs also grabbed an interception.
Bonney Lake goes on the road this week to play Decatur at 7 p.m. Friday.
