With Christmas a week away, it isn’t too late to get in the holiday spirit. The following are family-friendly events for all to enjoy.

Santa Letters

Today from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m., families can decorate and mail letters to Santa in the special, North Pole only mailbox.

Families will also be able to mail Santa Letters from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 19 and Friday, Dec. 20.

Celebrate Las Posadas

Today at 6 p.m. at the Sumner Pierce County Library families can enjoy traditional Mexican rituals, food and entertainment.

This event is free and you can register online.

The Nutcracker

The Children’s Dance Theater is performing The Nutcracker at the Fife Performing Arts Center on Friday, Dec. 20 at 7 p.m. There will also be two showings on Saturday, Dec. 21 at 2 p.m. and again at 7 p.m.

Tickets can be purchased online until Thursday, Dec. 19 for $13 or at the door for $15.

Family Bingo Night

At the Bonney Lake Senior Center, people of all ages can enjoy a night of bingo on Friday, Dec. 20 from 6:30 – 9:30 p.m.

Popcorn and candy will be available for purchase and the price of entry starts at $6. Proceeds will go toward helping fund activities for senior citizens.

Holiday Concert

On Saturday, Dec. 21 at 11 a.m. enjoy the sounds of The Dickens Carolers at the Bonney Lake Library.
