On Monday, March 10 the Prairie Ridge Community Coalition is holding their meeting from 11:30 a.m. until 1 p.m. at he Prairie Ridge Community Service Center in Bonney Lake.
Students from Pacific Lutheran University from a Community Psychology class will present ideas to help brainstorm ways of getting the community involved in the upcoming Prairie Ridge Parks Appreciation Day on April 26.
At the meeting, next week’s Community Safety Night will be discussed with the Pierce County Sheriff’s Department and Safe Streets.
The Community Safety Night is scheduled for Wednesday, March 12 starting at 6:45 p.m. Immediately following will be a free community dinner.
There has been a spike in criminal activity in the area. This event will allow residents to talk about their concerns and come up with a way to work together to prevent crime.
