The Bonney Lake High girls split a pair of South Puget Sound League 3A contest last week.
The Panthers lost 66-47 Friday at White River.
The Hornets jumped out to a 21-11 lead. The Panthers kept the deficit to about a dozen points, but a Hornet rally to open the fourth quarter sealed the win for White River.
Marcel Pounds and Rochelle Murray led the Panthers with 14 points each.
After a sluggish second and third period being outscored 21-9, Bonney Lake rallied in the fourth quarter for a 44-36 SPSL 3A win over Franklin Pierce Jan. 5 at home.
Brittany Kennedy poured in a season-high 18 points and Marcel Pounds tossed in 11.
The Panthers jumped out to a 16-4 lead in the first, but had trouble scoring in second as Franklin Pierce went on a 7-1 run.
