SMOKING AND DRIVING WITH KIDS: Officers observed a car leaving Office Depot with the driver smoking what appeared to be a joint. Officers also saw kids in the back seats. Officers stopped the car and the male driver was unable to show officers a valid drivers license. The man’s girlfriend was contacted to take the kids, the driver and the car home after he was cited for negligent driving.

EXPLODED MAILBOX: Officers learned of an exploded mailbox on July 4. The reporting party said the mailbox was destroyed on July 2. A neighbor told the reporting party that his brother blew up the mailbox with a firework. The reporting party told officers he would contact them again with more information.
