Police investigating abduction attempt on Angeline Road

The suspect is described as a white male in his 30s, about 6 feet tall with a heavy build, wearing dark clothing.

Bonney Lake Police are investigating the attempted abduction of a 17-year-old girl on Angeline Road.

The incident occurred Friday morning around 7:10 a.m. in the 11300 block of the street.

According to police, the girl reported she had been sitting on a bench at her school bus stop when she was approached by a male suspect. The suspect reportedly grabbed her from behind and told her to come with him. The female struck and kicked the suspect, who then fled on foot as another student approached the bus stop.

The victim then waited at the bus stop until the school bus arrived, and reported the incident to the driver. The report was relayed to the school district and then to 911.

Officers arrived and conducted an area check for the suspect. No one matching the suspect description was found.

The suspect is described as a white male in his 30s, about 6 feet tall with a heavy build, wearing dark clothing. Police have no leads or suspects at this time. The investigation is continuing.

In addition, officers are conducting extra patrols in the area.
