The Pierce County Boundary Review Board seeks applicants for a vacancy on the quasi-judicial body that makes decisions on such issues as incorporations, annexations, mergers and disincorporations by cities, towns and special purpose districts.
The position would fill the term of the governor’s appointee. The term expires Jan. 31, 2019.
Applicants must submit a completed Application for Gubernatorial Appointment to a Board or Commission. A resume or biography is also requested. The application is available here.

Board meetings are held as needed on the second Tuesday of each month at 10 a.m. in the Pierce County Public Services Building (Annex). More information about board member responsibilities is available by calling (253) 798-7156.
The following are not eligible for Boundary Review Board appointment: elected officials of cities and counties; board members of special purpose districts; board members of port districts; city, county, or regional planning commission members; planning officials, city managers, county executives, city or county engineers, and other such individuals employed in management or policy development positions within local governments; and individuals specifically disqualified under RCW 36.93.050.
