The Bonney Lake girls basketball team beat Timberline 33-31 in the opening game of the West Central District 3A tournament Tuesday, Feb. 12 at Franklin Pierce High.

Leading the scoring for Bonney Lake was Mekenzie Voellger with 14 and Riley Jensen scored eight. Jessyka Seger added seven.

The Panthers next game is 6 p.m. Friday against Prairie High at Columbia River High.
