Thank you to all the citizens who sent notes of support to our Police officers in the past week. We are blessed to have great individuals who take risks every day to ensure our safety. They are a big reason why we get to enjoy a charming and safe community.
Please join me in continuing to thank them for their service and pray for their safety. Chaplain Bob Ihler has coordinated a formal prayer time this Wednesday, today, 2 – 5 pm at First Christian Church, 432 Wood Avenue.
Whether you attend this time or not, please always keep our Sumner officers, and those across the country, in your thoughts and prayers. If you’d like another option, putting a blue light bulb in your porch light is a nice way of showing support for law enforcement.
