On Thursday, Dec. 12 the Bonney Lake boys and girls wrestling teams traveled to Enumclaw to take on the Hornets.
The Bonney Lake boys team lost 44-25 to Enumclaw and the girls tied 0-0.
The Panthers boys next match is 9 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 14 at home in the Panther Invite where it will host Peninsula and Shorewood.
The girls next match is at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 18 against Decatur at home.
The Spartans traveled to Franklin Pierce on Thursday and beat the Cardinals 57-15.
Sumner will host Fife for its next match at 6 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 19.
The Spartans swam in its first meet of the season at Steilacoom on Thursday.
Sumner lost 101-78.
The team met district times in the 200 medley relay and in the 200 free relay, coach Jerry Turner said.
Devin Drobney got district times in both the 50 and 100 free, he said.
Turner added that distance swimmers did a great job during the meet as well.
The Spartans will host Clover Park at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 17.
