The Bonney Lake Panthers used a pair of 4-0 victories last week to improve to 4-1-1 in South Puget Sound League 3A soccer play.
The two-shutout week wrapped up Friday with a win over Decatur and followed an April 12 victory over the Peninsula Seahawks. Both blankings came on the road.
Friday’s victory over the Gators featured first-half goals by James Glavin and Austin Curtis, plus second-half goals by Jordan Billy and Colton Tracy.
Against the Seahawks, Bonney Lake managed a 1-0 halftime lead, thanks to a goal by Tim Knoles. The Panthers took control with two goals in two minutes early in the second half, taking the lead on tallies by Nick Thomas and Jordan Billy. Billy added his second goal in the 65th minute to polish off the scoring.
