Police were told the morning of Aug. 14 of a man exposing himself to joggers

BURGLARY REPORTED: A burglary at a Cole Street location was reported to police at 4:45 a.m. Aug. 14. Several items were stolen and damage was done to the windows. There were no immediate suspects.

FLASHER: Police were told the morning of Aug. 14 of a man exposing himself to joggers in the Monroe Avenue vicinity. Officers checked the area without locating the suspect.

POLITICAL SIGN: A citizen told police Aug. 14 of a political sign blocking the sidewalk in front of the post office. An officer found there was adequate room for pedestrians to walk around the booth and the issue was settled.

POLICE ASSISTANCE: Officers responded the afternoon of Aug. 14 to the public library parking lot after hearing of a driver who was possibly impaired. It turned out to be a health issue and the driver was transported to his residence.

DISTURBANCE: Police responded shortly after 4 a.m. Aug. 14 to a Franklin Street address, where a suspect was not being allowed inside a residence.
