The Bonney Lake boys basketball squad launched its 2010-11 season with a conquest when it visited the Washington High gym Friday evening and recorded a 69-54 nonleague victory over the Patriots.

The Panthers featured a balanced scoring attack, but did most of their damage in the low post as center Mike Gould notched 20 points for an evening’s toil. Guards Ramsey Thoms and Lawrence Williams contributed a combined total of 27 points.

The Panthers were scheduled to travel to White River Tuesday, results can be found at www.blscourierherald.com, and will host Stadium Thursday and cross-district rival Sumner Friday. Both contests tip off at 7 p.m.
