• The Enumclaw High School jazz band and Stage Door Productions invites the public to a night of nostalgia with “Swing Into Spring” April 9 and 10 in the EHS commons. • A fashion show and shopping event fundraiser to support Buckley’s American Cancer Society Relay For Life is scheduled for 6 to 10 p.m. April 18 at Enumclaw’s Suburban Soul, 1335 Cole St. Tickets are $12 prepaid or $15 at the door. Anyone under 16 years old must be accompanied by an adult

• Team Angels Buckley Relay For Life team will host a fundraising garage sale from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. April 17 and April 18 at 465 S. Division St. in Buckley.

• The Buckley Library presents Time for Tales with master storyteller Pat Peterson at 2 p.m. Saturday.

• The American Cancer Society Relay For Life of Buckley committee meeting is set for 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Buckley library on River Avenue. Anyone desiring to help with the May 15 event is welcome.

Buckley Senior Center

The Buckley Senior Center is at 811 Main St. and can be reached at 360-829-0190.

• Free income tax assistance will be offered at the center between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. April 8.

• The senior center will once again host its annual silent auction and benefit sale from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. April 18 at the multipurpose center. There will be fantastic items to bid on and goodies to “rummage” through and take home.

Community Center

• The Sons of Italy meet at 6:30 p.m. Friday.

• An Easter breakfast fundraiser is set for 8 to 11 a.m. April 11. The cost is $3.50 for seniors. Grandchildren are $2.50.

Buckley Youth

Center

• White River Community Outreach (WRCO) helps residents navigate through the maze of social and human services. WRCO services are available from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday.

• Movie night April 11 features “Twilight.” Admission is free. The movie starts at 8 p.m. Attendees must be 13 years of age to view or have parent permission.
