The community is invited to a special meeting from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Crestwood Elementary in which public input will be gathered aimed at improving the quality of preschool, childcare and early learning.

The director of the Department of Early Learning, Sumner School District Superintendent Gil Mendoza and the director of First FiveFUNdamentals of Pierce County will attend.

Feedback will help shape the statewide early learning plan, as well as the Sumner School District’s early learning plan to ensure children enter school ready to succeed.
