Workshop designed to help families
Guiding Good Choices, a free workshop for families with children ages 9 to 14 years old will be offered Tuesdays beginning April 13 and running through May 11 at Mountain Meadow Elementary School, 11812 Mundy Loss Rd., Buckley.
Each evening begins with dinner for the entire family at 5:30 p.m. and continues with class from 6 to 8 p.m.
Free childcare is provided for younger siblings.
Parents will discuss establishing limits, helping youth deal with peer pressure, youth’s changing role in the family, managing family conflict, effective communication and more.
Youth will learn to handle frustration, resist peer pressure, recognize strengths and get along with others.

Enumclaw library offers storytime
The Enumclaw Public Library will offer storytime from March 16 through May 6.
Toddler Time, for 2 to 3 1/2 year olds with an adult, is from 10 to 10:30 a.m. and 11 to 11:30 a.m. Tuesdays.
Preschool Storytime, for ages 3 1/2 years old and older, is from 10 to 10:30 a.m. and 11 to 11:30 a.m. Thursdays.
Registration begins today, Wednesday, and is required.
