Enumclaw’s girls swim team won a 130-50 home, nonleague meet against Rogers Sept. 27 and then lost a 114-72 league meet on the road at Peninsula Thursday.
The Seahawks handed the Hornets their first league loss of the season, winning each event except for the 100-meter breaststroke, which EHS’s Bella Davenport captured with a time of 1 minute, 22.75 seconds.
EHS dominated its meet with the Rams, winning every event, starting with the 200-yard medley relay with Bailey Sexton, Davenport, Katie Larrea and Erin Wessel posting a time of 2:08.36.
Carlie Cairnes cruised to a 200 freestyle victory in 2:21.05. Cairnes also won the 500 freestyle in 6:24.99.
Davenport won the 200 individual medley relay in 2:30.36 and the 100 breaststroke in 1:14.65.
Wessel raced to victory in the 50 and 100 freestyle with times of 27.56 and 1:00.57, respectively.
Nicole Wilson dove to a 183.35-point victory for the Hornets.
Katie Larrea won the 100 butterfly with a time of 1:11.98.
The 200 freestyle relay of Katie Larrea, Rachel Holston, Allie Larrea and Wessel won in 1:55.23.
Sexton won the 100 backstroke in 1:09.03 and was the third leg of the winning 400 freestyle relay. Allie Larrea, Holston and Davenport joined Sexton to post a time of 4:17.11.
