Domestic trouble and more | Buckley police reports April 24-28

DOMESTIC SITUATION: An officer was dispatched the afternoon of April 28 to a Cascade Street address after hearing of a domestic argument. The officer was informed the male involved in the situation had damaged the window of a vehicle belonging to the caller. The man was arrested for third-degree malicious mischief and transported for booking.

The man was arrested for third-degree malicious mischief and transported for booking.

WARRANT ARREST: A 20-year-old man voluntarily surrendered to Buckley police as he was wanted on an outstanding Department of Corrections warrant. He was booked into the Fife jail.

ASSAULT ALLEGED: Officers were dispatched the afternoon of April 24 after learning of a possible fight in progress. It was determined a 13-year-old girl was reporting an assault that had occurred earlier in the day, not in Buckley but in unincorporated Pierce County. A county deputy was requested to take over the case.

JEWELRY GONE: A Buckley resident told police April 23 her son had stolen some jewelry.

SHOPLIFTING: Buckley officers were dispatched the morning of April 24 to a shoplifting incident in progress. The suspect was being detailed by employees of the state Route 410 business. The suspect was arrested, given a criminal citation and assigned a court date.
