Glass artwork created by Native American artists connects with the writings of author Sherman Alexie in Made at the Museum: Native American Artists. Part of Pierce County READS 2016, the event will be held at 6 p.m. and 7 p.m. on March 17 at the Museum of Glass, 1801 Dock St. in Tacoma.
Made at the Museum: Native American Artists includes discussion of the five Alexie books featured in Pierce County READS 2016, a deeper dive into the books’ themes and a guided presentation of the glass art. The art will be on display through the summer. Visit the Museum of Glass for free during Third Thursdays.
