ODD SALE: On Oct. 15, officers performed a random license check on a vehicle. The date of sale that came back to the car was 00/00/0000. Officers activated their emergency lights and contacted the three subjects in the car. The female driver, who officers recognized, said she purchased the car in August and was saving her money to transfer the title. Officers smelled marijuana coming from the car and placed the driver into custody. A male passenger was confirmed to have two felony warrants for his arrest and was also arrested. The third passenger was released.
PROPERTY HIT AND RUN: Officers were called to a hit and run on Oct. 15. The victim/witness explained he was in his house when he heard a loud crash. After coming out of his house, he saw a car drive away from the damage done to a fence, cinderblock wall, the culvert and some trees. There were parts of the vehicle left at the scene. Officers searched the area but was unable to find a car with front damage.
