...UNUSUALLY COLD WEATHER ACROSS WESTERN WASHINGTON FOR THE NEXT

WEEK...

MODIFIED ARCTIC AIR IS FILTERING INTO WESTERN WASHINGTON THIS

MORNING...PRODUCING WINDY CONDITIONS IN WESTERN WHATCOM COUNTY

AND THE SAN JUANS. WIND CHILLS ACROSS THE NORTH INTERIOR WILL BE

10 TO 15 DEGREES THIS MORNING AS WINDS WILL CONTINUE TO GUST UP TO

45 MPH. IN ADDITION...TEMPERATURES AROUND MUCH OF WESTERN

WASHINGTON INCLUDING THE MAIN SEATTLE URBAN CORRIDOR WILL FALL TO

NEAR OR BELOW FREEZING. THIS MEANS ANY PRECIPITATION THAT FELL

LAST EVENING MAY FREEZE WITH BLACK ICE POSSIBLE ON ROADWAYS.

MOTORISTS SHOULD EXERCISE CAUTION DURING THE MORNING COMMUTE.

DRY AND COLD WEATHER WILL PREVAIL THROUGH THURSDAY MORNING.

DAYTIME HIGHS WILL BE IN THE UPPER 20S AND 30S WITH SUNSHINE...AND

OVERNIGHT LOWS WILL BE MAINLY IN THE 15 TO 25 DEGREE RANGE. A WEAK

WEATHER SYSTEM MAY BRING SOME FLURRIES OR LIGHT SNOW TO PARTS OF

WESTERN WASHINGTON LATE IN THE DAY THURSDAY AND THURSDAY NIGHT. AT

THIS TIME IT APPEARS ACCUMULATION...IF ANY...WOULD BE MINOR.

THE COLD WEATHER WILL LIKELY CONTINUE FRIDAY THROUGH MONDAY OF

NEXT WEEK. TEMPERATURES WILL BE SIMILAR OR EVEN SLIGHTLY COLDER

THAN THOSE EXPECTED THE NEXT COUPLE DAYS. RENEWED FRASER OUTFLOW

WINDS MAY ALSO PRODUCE COLD WIND CHILLS ACROSS THE NORTH INTERIOR.

ANOTHER WEATHER SYSTEM MAY BRING A CHANCE OF SNOW LATE THIS

WEEKEND OR EARLY NEXT WEEK.
