The forty-fifth annual Tacoma Highland Games is back this weekend at Frontier Park. Beginning this year, the Tacoma Highland Games will be a two-day event.
Festivities kick off Friday, June 27, with the first annual Celtic concert from 6 to 9 p.m. The concert includes food and commercial vendors, a beer garden and performances by local bands including Ockham’s Razor and Banshie along with other Celtic-style entertainment. This is a free event with a $5 parking fee.
The games take place Saturday, June 28, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and include youth field events, a dancing competition, a heavy field event, piping and drumming competitions, and more. There will also be a British Isles car show among other activities.
The Tacoma Highland Games is open to all ages and will take place at Frontier Park, 21718 Meridian Avenue East in Graham.
Ticket prices:
- $15 for adult
- $10 for youth (6-18), seniors and military
- Free for children five and younger
Families and groups are welcome to stay on-site during the weekend. Hookup vehicles will cost $25 per night and non-hookup accommodations will be $20.
