‘Pirates of Penzance Jr.’ playing at Lakeridge Middle School this weekend

Students will be the very model of a modern Major-General this Friday and Saturday at 7 p.m.

Pirates take the stage as Lakeridge Middle School drama students present “The Pirates of Penzance” with a  middle school spin. The  farce features sentimental pirates, bumbling policemen, dim-witted young lovers, dewy-eyed daughters and an eccentric Major-General, all morally bound to the often-ridiculous dictates of honor and duty.

The play starts at 7 p.m. on Friday, March 23 and Saturday, March 24 in the Lakeridge Middle School multipurpose auditorium. Lakeridge is located at 5909 Myers Road in Bonney Lake.

Tickets will be sold at the door: $5 for general admission, $3 for students with ASB card. Children not yet in school will not be charged.
