March 19, 2015 – Kidz Night Out with LEGO Bricks is March 27th from 6-9:30pm at Meridian Habitat Park in South Hill

We have a special evening planned for your children, filled of motorized model building with LEGO® bricks! Children will use their creativity to design and build their own models, as well as build with our plans of over 160 different motorized model builds: Amusement Park Rides, Famous Buildings, Forces of Nature, Spectacular Sports, Interesting Inventions, Laws of Motion, Space Adventure, Energy is Everywhere, Construction Craze, Amazing Animals – and many more.

Your children will also engage in challenges, games, and creative open play – all supervised by our professional staff. This will be an evening of fun your children will not forget! Pizza and drinks for each child will be provided.

For: Ages 5-13

Fees:

$25 for 1st child

$15 for 2nd child

$5 for each additional child

Parks and Recreation invites you to Family Bingo Night on April 3rd

Its spring time and that means the sounds of family fun will be heard from miles around Chambers Creek Regional Park as Pierce County Parks & Recreation host the Annual Family Bingo Night on Friday April 3rd from 6:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. in University Place.

Doors will open at 6 p.m. Cost is $5/person (includes a packet of six bingo sheets). Pre-register by April 1st so you don’t miss out on the fun or take a chance and show up day of to register! Concessions will be onsite to fulfill your appetites. Doors will open at 6 p.m. Please bring a bingo dauber or crayon.

Port Townsend to Friday Harbor Whale Watching for Active Adults 50 and Over

This day long cruise combines orca watching with an on-board naturalist, a tour of San Juan Islands, and a visit to Friday Harbor for shopping and sightseeing. The cruise departs from Port Townsend aboard the Glacier Spirit, a Puget Sound Express Boat, if you want to see orcas, this trip is for you! Tour includes a 2 hour layover in Friday Harbor for Shopping or quick sightseeing. Bring lunch, snacks, and/or money for lunch.

Above The Trees; TreeHouse Point Tour for Active Adults 50 and over

Come along as we venture to Fall City where peace and tranquility await us. TreeHouse Point Retreat Center is nestled along the Raging River where we will visit eight different tree house’s high above the tree line. The tour will take approximately 1.5 hours. On our way home we will stop for a late lunch at Fall City Roadhouse. Trip includes transportation, ticket, and trip oversight. Please note the tour is not wheelchair or walker friendly and there is no opportunity for sitting during the tour. Pre-registration is required by May 1st.
