The annual Sumner bridge lighting will take place Friday at 5 p.m., followed by a fireworks show.

Spectators are encouraged to join the fun early. Vendor booths, music and activities will begin at 2 p.m.in the Old Cannery parking lot, 13608 Valley Avenue East.

This year, the holiday tradition is sponsored by Sunset Chevrolet and Columbia Bank.
