• The White River Middle School winter concert begins at 7 p.m. Thursday in the White River High School auditorium. Admission is free.
• Green River Community College Enumclaw campus gallery presents “Testing Boundaries,” featuring artist Lisa Strauss. The exhibit runs through Dec. 22. • The city of Enumclaw’s Gallery 2008 features Enumclaw photographer Lisa Parsons with Journey to Andean Highlands and Jungles of Peru. The exhibit runs through Jan. 7. An artist reception is scheduled for 7 to 8 p.m. Dec. 18 at City Hall. Following the reception, Parsons invites the community to view a slide show and South American wine tasting at Sip City Wines in Enumclaw. Bazaars
• A bazaar to benefit the American Cancer Society is planned for the Lake Sawyer Community Center. The event will run from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday. Featured will be handmade items.
• Camp Fire holiday bazaar is planned for 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at the Moose Lodge, 24506 448th St. in Enumclaw.

Clothing Banks
• The Donald Loomis Memorial Clothing Bank in Buckley gives away clothing and other items to those who live within the White River and Carbonado school districts. The clothing bank is located behind Glacier Middle School around the back bus loop; follow the signs off River Avenue.
It is open from 1 to 3 p.m. Wednesdays and 10 a.m. to noon, the first and third Saturday of each month; and 6 to 8 p.m. the first Tuesday of each month. The bank is closed during school closures and holidays. Donations are accepted during regular hours. There is a special need right now for boys’ pants. • The Enumclaw School District’s clothing bank operates at the former J.J. Smith Elementary School, 1640 Fell St. It is open from 4:30 to 6 p.m. every Tuesday.
Dog Shelter
• The city of Buckley maintains a short-term dog pound. Animals are kept for three days, then taken to Pierce County facilities. Anyone with a missing dog can call 360-829-3157.
Enumclaw Expo Center
• Drop-in horse exercise through Feb. 27 in the covered arena. Hours are 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday and 5 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Events
• Helping Hand is offering holiday food baskets to families with children. Gifts are also available through Enumclaw toys for tots. Recipients must live in the Enumclaw School District. • The Wilkeson Centennial Committee announces the availability of centennial quilts and 2009 calendars showcasing Wilkeson’s history.
