The Bonney Lake Panthers beat Mountain View 2-1 Wednesday.

With the win the Panthers move on to the district semi finals.

Bonney Lake’s game is scheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday against Timberline at Auburn Mountainview High School.

The winner of that game will advance to the districts championship game scheduled 7 p.m. on Saturday.

Softball

The Panthers played Hazen High School Thursday in the sub districts tournament.

In a loser out game, Bonney Lake beat Hazen 14-4.

The win advances the Panthers to the district tournament. The next game is scheduled for Friday, May 23.

The game will be played at Sprinker Fields in Spanaway and the opponent and time are still to be determined.

Boys Soccer

The Panthers lost for the first time since March to Kennedy Catholic in the sub districts tournament on May 13.

The final was 1-0.

Bonney Lake traveled to Vancouver, Wash. Thursday to play Columbia River in the first round of districts.

And again, the Panthers lost. Columbia River out scored Bonney Lake 5-3.

Bonney Lake plays Shelton at 2 p.m. Saturday at Highline Memorial Stadium.

The defending state championships must win Saturday in order to advance to the state tournament.

Girls Tennis

In the final regular season match of the year, the Panthers faced off against district rival Sumner Spartans.

Bonney Lake ends the season with a 5-0 loss.

The Panthers finish with a 3-6 league record and 3-9 overall.
