The state times keep coming for the Sumner High girls swim team.
Sami Hendricks and Madison Munger posted two more state qualifying times and several Spartans raced to district-qualifying times in the team’s 128-49 league win over Eatonville Thursday.
Munger added the 50- and 100-yard freestyle, 25.31 and 56.11 seconds respectively, to her state qualifying list, bringing the total to six events.
Hendricks added the 200 freestyle, 2:05.13, and 100 butterfly, 1:05.89, to her growing roster of state times. Her total is now at five.
The Spartans’ 400 freestyle relay of Munger, Kallan Gustafson, Emma Thompson and Hendricks also qualified for state with a time of 3:58.31.
Nine Spartans qualified for districts. Alicia Ditty and Ashley Huynh were a hair shy from state times in the 100 backstroke and the 100 breaststroke, respectfully. Ditty and Gustafson were qualifiers in the 200 individual medley. Lizzie Kressler and Gustafson qualified for districts in the 100 butterfly and Thompson made time in the 50 and 100 freestyle.
Coach Dana Powers said the team also had 26 improved times, with the most improved going to Ali Bryant in the 100 freestyle. She also noted Dani Nasawang, Sara Grant, Ashley Johnson, Jessie Shook, Katie Bateman, Kristen Easterly and Jaime Morey.
Powers also singled out diver Kiailea Ole, who started a week ago and won the event.
