Individual bags of SoundGRO® fertilizer will no longer be sold directly from the Chambers Creek Regional Wastewater Treatment Plant in University Place, effective March 15. Bags will continue to be available at a number of distributors across Pierce County.

Large volumes – orders of 1 ton or more – will still be available at the plant. Large volume orders must be placed in advance by calling (253) 798-3099 and are available as supplies allow.

Pierce County Public Works and Utilities makes SoundGRO® from wastewater treatment byproducts known as biosolids. SoundGRO® is an environmentally-friendly fertilizer and is an important part of managing the Chambers Creek Regional Wastewater Treatment Plant.
