NO CRIME: A woman told police July 29 her boyfriend had assaulted her the night before and stolen her bank card. Officers discovered no assault had occurred; as for the bank card, the boyfriend had been given full access to the account.
THREE WRECKS: Police responded to three automobile collisions within a span of one hour on July 29. The first two were two-car crashes with no injuries; one was at McHugh avenue and Porter Street, the other at Griffin Avenue and Garfield Street. The third call was for a hit-and-run incident occurring at Semanski Street and Warner Avenue.
SEVEN TO HOSPITAL: City police assisted the Washington State Patrol at 6:09 p.m. July 28 following a two-vehicle accident on 288th Avenue Southeast. Medical crews with the department responded and seven patients were transported to the hospital.
