King County tightens marijuana regulations; Enumclaw residents upset, feel left out
The King County Council has called this new piece of marijuana legislation one of the most collaborative pieces of law they’ve passed all year. The new ordinance restricts marijuana producers and processors from opening up in rural zones on parcels of land less than 10 acres, minimizing the land available to these businesses by 70 percent. Local Pony team has rough time in California
The local Pony Team, the Plateau Avengers, fell in the California West Zone tournament after loosing their first two games. The first game was an 8-2 loss to Arizona and then a 12-0 loss to California. Read more about the games here.
Suspect pleads guilty in Nicole White Murder Case
You may have read recently that Graham resident Jonathan Daniel Harris pleaded guilty to the assault and murder of Enumclaw resident Nicole White last year. Read up on the details of the case here, from when White disappeared June 7, 2015 to when Harris took a plea deal just last week.
Disc golfers propose course to Enumclaw council
The Pierce County Disc Gold Players Association has approached the Enumclaw City Council about constructing a disc golf course at Farmers Park.
